Paul Glen Combest, age 76, of Louisville and Adair County, died Monday, May 29th, 2017.

He was born March 11, 1941 in Casey County, KY to Ethel Wilkinson Combest and Paul Dow Combest. Paul graduated from Liberty High School in 1958 and earned a B.B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University in 1962. He was a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army as an Armored Officer, he served 13 months in Korea as a Recon Platoon Leader and flew the DMZ as an Arial Observer; he rose to the rank of Captain. Paul retired from Ford Motor Company, Kentucky Truck Plant after 34 years. Paul was awarded Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wanda Hardin; two daughters, Kimberly Combest and Tammy Combest; three grandchildren, Eliza Glen, Grace and Luca; and a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 3:00PM at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY 42539. Bro. Paul Patton will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 3:00PM on Saturday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.
