Phillip Tayler DillonPhillip Tayler Dillon, age 26, of Danville, died Saturday, July 8, 2017, from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Born on April 27, 1991, in Corbin, KY, he was a son of David (and Kathy) Dillon and Mari Susan Adkins. Tayler was a United States Marine veteran. He was stationed at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina and he served in Okinawa, Japan. Tayler was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Casey County High School, Class of 2009.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Thomas Dillon of Danville; two step-sisters, Kalila Knoblauch and Kacey Huffaker; one step-brother, Brendan Wyatt; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Kathy Mosley of DeLand, Florida; and paternal grandmother, Jane Dillon of Liberty. Tayler is also survived by an Aunt, Debbie (and Danny) Buis; three Uncles, Robert (and April) Dillon, George (and Tammy) Dillon and Michael (and Heather) Dillon; and several cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery with military honors by the Casey County Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
