Twelve Persons Indicted by Casey County Grand Jury During July Session

The July session of the Casey County Grand Jury resulted in “true bills” being returned and “indictments handed up” against twelve persons. According to Circuit Court records, those named in the allegations and the charges they face include:

  • James Louis Rodgers, 66, of Liberty — Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree
  • Jimmy Dean Owens, 46, of Liberty — Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication
  • Rodney Lee Daniel, 39, of Russell Springs — Bail Jumping 1st Degree
  • Timothy Ray Duncan, 39, of Liberty — Bail Jumping 1st Degree and Persistent Felony Offender
  • William Delmer Luttrell, 42, of Liberty — Possession of Methamphetamine, DUI, Driving on Suspended License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • James Robert Bagby, Jr., 37, of Mannsville — Possession of Methamphetamine, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Fleeing or Evading Police, Assault 3rd Degree (on police officer), Resisting Arrest, Escape 2nd Degree, DUI and Speeding
  • Jerry Rollen Cochran, 61, of Liberty — Receiving Stolen Property, DUI and No Operator’s License
  • Garrad Daniel Rowland, 25, of Liberty — Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Wilbur Riddle, Jr., 37, of Crab Orchard — Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Bradley Shane Payton, 30, of Liberty — Burglary (two counts), Theft By Unlawful Taking and Criminal Mischief
  • Billy Joe Lyons, 42, of Harrodsburg — Burglary (two counts), Theft By Unlawful Taking, Criminal Mischief and Persistent Felony Offender (three counts)
  • Ivy Marie Kidd, 31, of Liberty — Burglary (two counts), Theft By Unlawful Taking, Criminal Mischief and Persistent Felony Offender (three counts)
